I have over 10 years experience caring for children aging from 2 months to 13 years, including a 9 year stint with the same family during which I transitioned from infant and toddler care, to homework assistance and after school activities. I love helping children learn and grow, and have a particular passion for being outside, interacting with nature. I enjoy engaging children in free play, and structured activities/trips to foster imagination, independence, and confidence. I have experience looking after up to four children at a time, and some experience caring for children with autism. I have a bachelors degree in digital media, and am currently studying a Master of Creative Writing online (flexible).I have also studied early childhood education for 18 months. I love to cook, and am completely comfortable with any and all animals. I have a blue card, clean licence, and my own car (5 star ANCAP safety rating). My first aid and CPR training was renewed in June 2024. I can provide a written reference and/or contact details from the family I worked with for 9 years, my most recent babysitting position. Their children have now aged out of needing my care, so I can be available any days/times.
