Hi parents! My name is Sophie and I'm a 23 year old qualified Physiotherapist and current second year Medical Student. I have moved to Perth from Melbourne for study, but have worked as a lifeguard, allied health assistant and in disability/therapy support prior to moving. I currently work as a physiotherapist at a hospital and as a disability support worker. I am the eldest of four children and have over ten years of experience looking after children from 6 weeks to 14 years old, including those with special needs and abilities (including Down Syndrome, epilepsy and ASD), through casual babysitting, nannying, tutoring and disability support work. I have also completed placement at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. I am very energetic, enthusiastic, organised and reliable, and love working with kids! I have a level two first aid qualification, CPR certificate, epipen certification, abn and current working with children and police checks. I am very happy to help with household work and cooking. I have my licence (clean record with a defensive driving qualification) and a car.
